In the beginning there is, as always, a need. The need for classicism is the key to understanding that atmosphere into
which we are progressively immersing ourselves. Of course, not the classic seen as a nostalgic and slavish recovery of ancient tradition, nor as a revival tout court, an evanescent fashion that erases recent paths to exalt what had been conceived in other eras: by classic we mean here that more subtle and perhaps even generic inspiration that underlies the need for authentic rules, lasting references and certain recognizability, that is, those tried and tested canons that provide security and are tools of identification. And which do not necessarily have to be recovered from history, but rather from our more recent past.
